Aware that parents are continually looking for healthier choices of food for their children, McDonald's has introduced new items - corn kernels, grilled chicken bun and even apple juice - into its ever-popular Happy Meals promotions. Selected outlets have dedicated areas for children to play in too. McDonald's also organises birthday parties with trained party hostesses, which can even be held outside the fast-food chain's outlets.
